If you find that some application is having trouble connecting to a server via ssh. The next step is to get the error.

Where to find the log files

The SSH/SFTP log files on Ubuntu 22 can be accessed by navigating to the /var/log/auth.log file. This file contains all the authentication logs for SSH and SFTP connections.

Where to find the error

The error will be at the very bottom of the file by default
