How to use Midjourney Discord to Generate AI images

Prerequisites

• Signup for a discord account
• Download the Discord Application

Generate an image

1. Go to more info
2. Join midjourney
3. In the right hand sidebar click one of the newbie channels or create your own server.
4. In the message bar type /imagine a dark little twisted world

4 image options are returned

Once your image has been generated. See below your returned image the following options with the corresponding meanings:

• U1 - upscale image 1
• U2 - upscale image 2
• U3 - upscale image 3

• U4 - upscale image 4

• V1 - 4 more versions of versions 1
• V2 - 4 more versions of versions 2
• V3 - 4 more versions of versions 3
• V4 - 4 more versions of versions 4

Add your own image to Midjourney

there are 2 ways to use your own image

1. Using existing image in channel

• Click your rendered image in your channel
• Once its expanded, right click on it and hit copy link
• Now in a new /imagine prompt now you can reference your uploaded image by pasting in its location.

2. Using image from your computer

• Hit the plus icon and ‘upload a file’
• Click your uploaded file
• Once its expanded, right click on it and hit copy link
• Now in a new /imagine prompt now you can reference your uploaded image by pasting in its location.
• for example /imagine an apocolyptic version of your image reference link
