Gutenberg keyboard shortcuts for WordPress block editing

Gutenberg copped a lot of criticism from people that were used to working within elementor or some other DIVI like system. I found using the keyboard shortcuts made working within Gutenberg far easier and more efficient.

Prerequisites

An active WordPress Install. Gutenberg comes preinstalled with the 2021, 2022, 2023 starter themes.

Gutenberg content editing shortcuts

1. Delete block option ctrl z or hit delete key on block selected on list view.
2. Add block before command option t
3. Add block after command option y
4. Duplicate block command shift d
5. Hit / in the Gutenberg text editor to start finding blocks
